Carrie Underwood Announces New Single Title + Unveils Official Artwork Cover!

Ms Carrie Underwood, one of the most successful (if not THE best, not sure how's the album sales difference between her and Kelly Clarkson now) American Idol winners to date, is preppin' the release of a new album for later in 2012 (three years after 'Play On'). And although Carrie's fourth music project under Sony Music Nashville is probably still months away from fans' hands, the country-pop star announced via a video posted on her YouTube account today (watch Carrie's cute speech below) that the first single from that new album is COMING SOON (to be precise, on February 23, according to radio reports).

So, Carrie's new single is called 'Good Girl'. Check out above the official single cover, which was revealed today as well. Ms Underwood looks hawt! Although the picture is giving me more of 'naughty/fierce girl' teas. She co-wrote the song with Chris DeStefano and Ashley Gorley, who helped crafting Carrie's "All-American Girl” and the flawless "Don’t Forget to Remember Me". I'm so excited about this! And I really really hope Carrie's bringing back the spirit of her debut album "Some Hearts" in this new era. Because let's be honest, her follow-ups, "Carnival Ride" and "Play On" were cute efforts, but so under the level of "Some Hearts". In this ocassion, she's taken her time between album releases, and I hope she's been working hard in the studio, recording only single-worthy tunes, like all songs on "Some Hearts" were.

Ready for Carrie's comeback!?
