Calvin Harris Premieres “Feels” Music Video With “Yellow” Katy Perry In It: Watch
Fourth time’s the lucky charm!
Calvin Harris didn’t give “Slide”, “Heatstroke”, nor “Rollin” a music video, but he has given one to “Feels”, which clearly stands as his most commercial-sounding single from “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1” to date. I requested a music video for “Feels” back when I did the review for the single and thank God my prayers have been heard. Calvin Harris just had to do this. “Feels” could be a massive global hit for the Scottish DJ, but if he wanted to make this happen, the song needed a music video out. You just can’t get a global hit without one. That’s a fact.
Directed by Emil Nava, the music video for the feel-good “Feels” song sees Katy Perry, with yellow hair, lying in a garden of yellow roses, Pharrell singing standing on a boat in the middle of a lake with a snowed-in setting in the back, and Big Sean rapping sitting down in an Egyptian-themed chair with two red parrots next to him in a jungle environment.
The music video gave me summer and “Wizard of Oz” vibes. And those are two very good vibes. Job well done here!
And I think my favorite scenes were the last ones when the camera zooms out and we see all three artists working together as a team jamming out to the song in their respective zones.
I was already addicted to “Feels”, playing it everyday without exception, and now with the music video, my addiction has gotten stronger!
