Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea - "Pretty Girls" [Music Video Premiere!]
I just don’t know what to think about this “Pretty Girls” music video that our beloved pop princess Britney Spears just premiered on VEVO. For some reason the sentence that best describes my feelings towards it, as of this post, is: “what is this foolishness!?”.
Don’t get me wrong. Brit Brit looks pretty-pretty in the Cameron Duddy-directed music video, and her body is smokin’ hot! (thank God for her strict work out routine to be in shape for the Las Vegas residency). However, the constant pauses (except for the dance break in the club), the choreography cuts, the product placement, and Iggy acting like a mentally disabled person; it all makes me give the “Pretty Girls” music video a very low grade. And I was really excited about watching this because from the teasers and behind the scenes it looked like it was going to be Britney’s best video ever.
Oh, can somebody explain why was Britney smiling and clapping about her being abducted by the aliens in the last scene? Lol. You should be scared, guuuuuurl!
So, do I completely hate this? Nah. I like the song; it’s so catchy, and the video is okay because Britney looks great in it, but I just think it could’ve been so much better executed. "Pretty Girls" really deserved better.
