Awkward! Both Katy Perry & Taylor Swift Attend Drake’s 30th Birthday Bash: Photos + Videos
On Sunday night (Oct. 23), immediately after finishing his OVOSOUND RADIO episode where he premiered new music, rapper Drake drove to L.A’s fine Delilah restaurant where he celebrated his 30th birthday, which is officially today, October 24th. Many superstars of the music industry, Hollywood and sports attended Drake’s event but two particularly caught the most attention and undoubtedly are the two guests that will take blogs and gossip sites by storm later today when the news really “explodes”. Who am I talking about? Major enemies and the two people with the most “Bad Blood” for each other, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift! Drake invited them both!
We learned about this surprising Katy and Taylor “meeting” thanks to the photographs posted by one of the other guests, some Indian man with lots of money apparently, on Instagram (see above). By the way, Katy Perry didn’t attend this b’day bash alone, she did so with his current boyfriend, John Mayer, who if you didn’t know was Taylor Swift’s ex! Oh my!
Do you think that a) Taylor and Katy put their differences to rest for once and for all last night and they had fun with each other? or b) they avoided running into each other during the whole event? If I had to bet real money, I would definitely go for option B! lol. I really think the word “hate” is the best one to describe what Katy and Taylor feel for each other. So I truly think that what they thought was the best option for last night was to avoid each other. They are Drake’s friends, they made an effort to be there for him last night, but hell no they are not saying hi to each other nor making eye contact. The “Bad Blood” is real and it won’t end until Taylor publicly apologizes - at least that’s what Katy apparently thinks.
In any case, the fact that Taylor was at the same event as her didn’t affect Katy much it seems. Why? Because check out the video below of Katy and the same random Indian guy from before dancing together at the bash! Katy got her life.
