Avril Lavigne Performs On 'Britain's Got Talent'
Punk princess Avril Lavigne hit the stage last night (June 1st) on ITV 1's hit show 'Britain's Got Talent' where she performed her singles "What The Hell" and "Smile" - from her fourth album "Goodbye Lullaby" - In this way, Avril kicks-off the promotional campaign for her new single "Smile" in the UK. The song is great and IMO much better than "What The Hell", which disappointed on the UK charts only peaking at... #16! "Smile" will have no problems beating that. Avril just needed to give the single a good promo backing and a performance on 'Britain's Got Talent' certainly served the purpose. Watch Ms Lavigne having fun on the BGT stage above. A shy Avril said that like the show's contestants she also felt kinda 'judged'. I mean, having Simon Cowell in front of you must not be easy. Avril will bring her "Black Star' tour to the UK in September.
