Ashanti - The Woman You Love (Music Video!)
Err...what is this? Check out Ashanti's sci-fi inspired music video for "The Woman You Love" which world premiere last night (March 13th) simultaneously on BET's '106th & Park' and VEVO - Directed by the songbird with Sean Coles, the visual takes a futuristic approach with Ms Ashanti being a time traveler who is seeking refuge from her broken heart. She floats into the future while recalling her doomed relationship with a boyfriend (played by actor Marcus Patrick) and learning that "the only way to heal is to accept and let go of the past". Will she be able to leave the past behind and move on though? Find out above. There were good special effects in the video, but I don't know, it was a really weird concept for an R&B song. "The Woman You Love" is the first single from Ashanti's fifth album "Braveheart", due this spring on her label Written Entertainment. Support the single on iTunes! It's a hot lil' record!
