Ariana Grande Reveals Cover of Debut Album 'Yours Truly', Pre-Order Available Next Week
Ariana Grande kept her promising of unveiling the official artwork of her much-anticipated debut studio album "Yours Truly" today. The former Victorious star will be releasing her first LP - featuring the smash hit "The Way" - on September 3 via Republic Records.
The album cover sees 20-year-old Ariana (looking 11) - wearing a lingerie ensemble, and sporting her signature hairstyle - sitting on top of a sea of pink roses. The background is all pink too, with the album title and her full name written in white letters above her head.
I'm actually debating right now if this is; A) Cute, and she looks adorable or B) what is this tacky, middle school mess?, and why does she look like a lolita?. In any case, let's not put much focus into the cover, as it's what's inside the CD, i.e the music, what truly matters. The first two singles, "The Way" and "Baby I" are flawless material, with Ariana bringing her throwback sound of 90's, R&B-pop music to a radio scene that is filled with mostly shallow records. Ariana's throwback style sounds 'fresh' right now, to put it in simpler words. Homegirl has got some serious pipes, and she's werking it!
Ariana also announced today that "Yours Truly" will be made available for pre-order on iTunes and other digital platforms next week!
