Agnes - Don't Go Breaking My Heart (Music Video!), Aqua - Playmate To Jesus (Music Video!)
The beautiful Agnes has just unveiled the music video for "Don't Go Breaking My Heart", the lead single from her yet-untitled upcoming fourth studio album, and the follow-up to the brilliant "Dance Love Pop" which spawned the massive hit "Release Me" in 2009 - This time Agnes is taking her risks with the new era's first single, because A) "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" isn't as 'instant' as "Release Me", and B) the hook doesn't make justice to the flawless verses and bridge. And adding up to the negative, the recently premiered MV is cheap and boring. However, I hope Agne's undeniable talent will prevail and that "DGBMH" becomes a new European smash hit for her. Although some cool remixes would help....:).
Danish-Norwegian legendary pop group Aqua are toning things down a bit in the new single release from their upcoming new album, their first work in eleven years, titled "Megalomania" which will hit stores in select European markets on October 3rd. If Aqua had fun with the first single "How R U Doing?", the Lene Nystrøm-led band are slowing the tempo a tad in the follow-up, the interesting mid-tempo "Playmate To Jesus". Watch above the music video for the song, which Aqua recently premiered on YouTube. Lene looks stunning! Not sure I liked the goth-y vibe though...Btw! I only just noticed the Kanye West sample! xD.
